In the new documentary about Thomas Schütte the viewer is invited to enter his world, to enter the different spaces where his thinking and creation take place: in his workshops, in galleries and museums. We meet and listen to people with very different expertise with whom he works together closely. Craftsmen and -women, engineers, curators and companions accompany the entire process. He is not alone.

For the motif of the film poster, I found a touching moment in the documentary which shows the tension between togetherness and loneliness. It also suggests the manual work and touch that lead the way throughout the creative process.
